Job Summary
A healthcare company has a current position open for a Partial Remote Northeast Region Clinical Advisor Registered Nurse.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Manage network participation, care with specialty networks, care with DME providers and transfers to alternative levels of care using your knowledge of benefit plan design
- Recommend services for members utilizing care alternatives available within the community and nationally
- Conduct admission review, post-discharge calls and discharge planning
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Travel required 10% of the time
- Must live within driving distance of Portland, Maine or New York City, New York
- Active RN license in the state(s) in which the nurse is required to practice
- Previous experience in utilization management, discharge planning and/or home health or rehab
- Prior clinical experience
- Must have the ability to provide a high speed DSL or cable modem for a home office
