Job Summary

A health service provider needs applicants for an opening for a Partial Remote Peer Substance Abuse Recovery Support Advocate.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Providing recovery support via telephone/video conference
• Performing Database input and upkeep
• Training new Specialists

Required Skills:

• May be required to travel up to 30%

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.

• Minimum of one (1) years' experience working with substance use disorder, mental health or recovery work setting
• Must be certified or eligible for certification as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist.
• 3 years of continuous sobriety from drugs and alcohol
• Actively working a “program of recovery”
• Proficient with a computer, software and internet
