Job Summary
A company that provides library & knowledge services for the federal government needs applicants for an opening for a Partial Telecommute Science and Tech Library Consultant.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Researching methods for identifying and tracking journal articles online
- Developing a list of requirements for any technical solutions including capabilities
- Evaluating and recommending methods and tools for enhancing public discovery and access
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Must be able to conduct occasional visits to the site in Northern Virginia
- 5 years' professional experience with scientific/technical research
- Masters in Library Science from an ALA accredited program
- Broad knowledge of search strategies and copyright issues
- Ability to analyze information from multiple sources and distill these into a single report or requirements document
