Job Summary

A staffing agency is in need of a Partial Telecommute Senior WiFi Firmware Engineer in Irvine.

Must be able to:

  • Design detailed plans to ensure firmware is functioning properly
  • Plan, improve, and manage software applications from inception to use
  • Interact with customers and team members for support of the developed applications and prototype installations

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Able to work from home a few days per week
  • Must have 5 to 10 years of experience designing and understanding hardware systems requiring firmware
  • Experience working with Wi-Fi products, able to fully comprehend the WIFI stack and adapt it to customer requirements
  • Strong experience integrating software
  • Must be familiar with ARM core processors
  • Experienced with IDE programming environments (EAR, KEIL)
  • Experienced using IDE debuggers to test and debug firmware designs
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science and/or a related field
