Job Summary

A nonprofit organization focused on educational services is filling a position for a Partial Telecommuting ELA Trainer Development Manager.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Modeling best practices in adult learning and training consultants in these practices
• Creating and delivering consultant prep/train-the-trainer experiences
• Analyzing data to inform training design and consultant support

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Travel up to 25%
• At least 3 years of teaching experience along with 3+ years of proven experience designing educative curricula for K-8 or 9-12 teachers at the district/network/national level
• Must have a deep understanding of student learning and skill progressions in ELA as well as expert knowledge in teacher development and adult learning strategies
• Must be a master at project planning and managing multiple priorities
• Must be able to design teacher professional development or curricular resources in a variety of modes and platforms
