Job Summary
A non-profit organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Partial Work at Home Academic Support Director.
Must be able to:
- Build relationships with academic leaders in other high-performing organizations to learn from their work and to enlist them as supporters or consultants
- Engage in strategic discussions to improve the overall program design and impact
- Contribute to the long-term accelerator strategy for curriculum implementation support
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Travel is required for workshops and some network coaching
- At least 5 years of teaching experience, demonstrating a strong track record of student performance gains in ELA
- At least 3 years of leadership experience in a charter network or similar organization, driving network gains in their content area
- Experience designing and leading professional development and cohort-based learning
- Experience working with leaders and developing leaders across lines of difference
- Ability to inspire and influence others; exceptional relationship builder
