Job Summary

A company is looking for a Partnerships Editor to oversee and expand collaborations with media outlets.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and manage collaborative partnerships, including the Western Environmental Reporting Collaborative
• Foster relationships with local and statewide news organizations across 12 Western states
• Manage reporter workloads and workflows across partner newsrooms and coordinate story assignments

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in assigning and editing news for digital audiences
• Deep knowledge of the Western United States and community-based journalism
• Experience in advancing justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion in journalism
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects and define roles and requirements
• Passion for enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in journalism practices
