Patent Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patent Attorney to manage and expand its patent portfolio and protect innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategies to build a strong patent portfolio aligned with business objectives
• Collaborate with inventors to identify patentable inventions and oversee the patent application process
• Provide legal advice on patent-related litigation, licensing, and conduct patentability analyses

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and membership in at least one state bar
• Registration to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in patent law, particularly in the technology sector
• In-depth knowledge of patent prosecution and strategic portfolio management
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
