Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate General Counsel, Patent to assist with patent prosecution and portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with internal clients and attorneys to provide guidance on patentability and manage patent filings
• Mentor inventors on patent disclosures and engage employees in the patent process through training and communications
• Conduct research on potential infringements and represent the legal team on internal patent review boards

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree
• Admission to the state bar where the individual resides
• Registered to practice as a Patent Attorney with the USPTO
• 3+ years of patent prosecution experience in a law firm or technology company
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and capable of creating presentation materials
