Patent Research Associate Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Director - Patent Research - IP Litigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pre-litigation and IP litigation workstreams, including reviewing prior art and preparing patent infringement charts
• Collaborate with external experts and draft expert reports for Patent Office proceedings and litigation
• Analyze and organize search findings to inform patentability and freedom to operate strategies

Required Qualifications

• B.S. degree or higher in chemistry, biological science, or a relevant scientific area (advanced degree preferred)
• At least 5 years of experience supporting patent litigation at a law firm or in-house
• At least 2 years of technical experience in drug discovery or development of pharmaceutical products
• Fluency in nomenclature conventions for organic chemical compounds and biological drug products
• Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis
