Patent & Trademark Paralegal

Job Summary

Supporting the intellectual property practice remotely, the full-time Patent & Trademark Paralegal will manage the preparation and filing of patent and trademark prosecution documents, oversee critical prosecution deadlines, and handle domestic and international intellectual property portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file patent prosecution documents, including applications and Information Disclosure Statements (IDSs)
• Manage and monitor domestic and international trademark applications and deadlines
• Oversee docket management for patent and trademark prosecution deadlines, maintenance fees, and foreign filing requirements

Required qualifications

• Associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or equivalent professional experience
• Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved or accredited program preferred
• Strong experience with U.S. patent procedures and international patent filings
• Advanced docket management skills, preferably with CPI software
• Experience in domestic and international trademark prosecution
