Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Access Associate II who will manage patient appointments and registrations in a call center environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle patient requests over the phone and apply correct workflows and protocols
  • Collect information from patients and enter data into the electronic health record system (EPIC)
  • Verify insurance eligibility, register patients, and inform them of their financial responsibilities
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in a professional capacity
  • Prior professional inbound call center experience
  • Previous professional experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare scheduling
