Patient Access Associate

Job Summary

To support the Patient Access Registration Call Center, the full-time Patient Access Associate will perform registration activities remotely, ensuring patient accounts are complete with valid insurance coverage and current demographic data, while also calculating financial responsibilities and processing payments.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a Call Center agent to assist with patient access registration
• Ensure patient accounts are complete with accurate insurance and demographic information
• Calculate patient financial responsibilities and process payments across multiple healthcare service lines

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
• One year of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, clinical roles, or related clerical/accounting/finance/customer service required
• Prior experience in a healthcare revenue cycle or call center environment preferred
• Epic experience preferred
• Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative preferred
