Patient Access Associate

Job Summary

Supporting the Patient Access Registration Call Center, the full-time Patient Access Associate will perform registration activities remotely, ensuring patient accounts are accurate with valid insurance coverage and current demographic data while calculating financial responsibilities and processing payments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform registration activities to ensure patient accounts are complete with valid insurance and demographic data
• Calculate patient financial responsibilities and present financial options to patients
• Process patient payments and support multiple sites across various service lines

Required qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
• 1 year of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, clinical roles, or related clerical/accounting/finance/customer service required
• 3 years of healthcare revenue cycle or call center experience preferred
• Prior Epic experience preferred
• Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative preferred
