Patient Access Associate

Job Summary

To support the Patient Access Registration Call Center, the full-time Patient Access Associate will manage registration activities remotely, ensuring patient accounts are accurate with valid insurance coverage and current demographic data, while calculating financial responsibilities and processing payments across multiple service lines.

Key responsibilities

• Perform registration activities to ensure patient accounts are complete with valid insurance and demographic data
• Calculate patient financial responsibility and present financial options to patients
• Process patient payments and support multiple sites within the healthcare system

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare revenue cycle, clinical role, or related clerical/finance/customer service
• Preferred experience includes 3 years in healthcare revenue cycle or call center
• Prior experience with Epic software is preferred
• Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative is preferred
