Patient Access Authorization Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Access Services Authorization Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform insurance verification and authorization functions for Patient Access Services
• Provide necessary information regarding authorization numbers and maintain records of referral activity
• Respond to provider orders for tests and obtain authorizations while staying current on payer requirements

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of three years of experience in healthcare insurance and/or authorizations
• Advanced abilities in common office software, including word processing and spreadsheets
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational skills and human relations required
