Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Access Coordinator to manage the registration process for outpatient behavioral healthcare.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls to ensure a positive customer/patient experience
  • Document comprehensive demographic and health information into the electronic health record system
  • Schedule appointments based on intake assessments and provider matrix
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associates degree in Health Administration or related field preferred
  • One year customer service or call center experience required, preferably in healthcare
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, medical insurance, or medical billing preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
