Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Access Coordinator responsible for managing the registration process of patients for outpatient behavioral healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls to ensure a positive customer/patient experience
- Document patient demographic and health information accurately into the electronic health record system
- Schedule appointments based on intake assessments and provider matrix
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate's degree in Health Administration or related field preferred
- One year of customer service or call center experience required, with an emphasis in healthcare preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical insurance, or medical billing preferred
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
