Patient Access Coordinator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Access Associate III.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle patient requests over the phone for multiple medical offices while applying correct workflows and protocols
• Simultaneously collect information from patients and enter data into the electronic health record system (EPIC)
• Verify insurance eligibility, register patients, and inform them of their financial responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Minimum of 3 years as a Patient Access Coordinator
• Inbound call center experience
• 2 years of healthcare experience, including prior healthcare scheduling
• Knowledge of medical terminology
