Job Summary

To support a growing behavioral healthcare practice, the full-time Patient Access Coordinator will manage the registration process for outpatient services, handle a high volume of calls, and ensure accurate documentation and scheduling of patient appointments in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Handles a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls to facilitate a positive customer/patient experience
  • Accurately documents patient demographic and health information into the electronic health record system
  • Schedules appointments based on intake assessments and provider availability
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Health Administration or related field preferred
  • One year of customer service or call center experience required, with an emphasis in healthcare preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, medical insurance, or medical billing preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
