Job Summary
To support a growing behavioral health practice, the full-time Patient Access Coordinator will manage the registration process for outpatient services, document patient information, and schedule appointments while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Handles a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls to ensure a positive patient experience
- Accurately documents comprehensive demographic and health information into the electronic health record system
- Schedules appointments based on intake assessments and provider availability
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in Health Administration or related field preferred
- One year of customer service or call center experience required, preferably in healthcare
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical insurance, or medical billing preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite required
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
