Job Summary
Handling incoming calls efficiently, the full-time Patient Access Coordinator will triage calls, create patient records, and schedule appointments while working remotely from approved states.
Key responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls in a fast-paced environment and act as the first point of contact for patients
- Maintain department productivity levels by meeting or exceeding monthly scorecard expectations
- Escalate calls to supervisors or other departments as necessary while adhering to established policies and procedures
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year of high-volume call center experience
- Intermediate computer skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
- Reliable high-speed internet access and Wi-Fi connection
