Job Summary
Handling incoming calls in a fast-paced environment, the full-time Patient Access Coordinator will triage calls, create patient records, and assist with scheduling while working in a hybrid role based in Orlando, FL.
Key responsibilities:
- Answer inbound calls and act as the first point of contact for patients needing assistance
- Maintain department productivity levels and meet monthly scorecard expectations for customer satisfaction
- Escalate calls to supervisors or other departments as necessary and perform additional duties as assigned
Required qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED is required
- Minimum of 1 year of high-volume call center experience
- Intermediate computer skills are necessary
- Knowledge of medical terminology is highly preferred
- Must reside within 50 miles of Orlando, FL, and have reliable high-speed internet access
