Job Summary
Handling all incoming telephone calls efficiently, the full-time Patient Access Coordinator will triage calls, create patient records, and schedule appointments while working in a hybrid environment based in Orlando, FL.
Key responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls in a fast-paced environment and act as the first point of contact for patients
- Create patient records, triage calls, and schedule appointments based on patient needs
- Maintain department productivity levels and meet or exceed monthly scorecard expectations
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or GED is required
- Minimum of 1 year of high-volume call center experience
- Intermediate computer skills are necessary
- Knowledge of medical terminology is highly preferred
- Must reside within 50 miles of the designated Orlando location
