Job Summary
Supporting core operations of the centralized Patient Access call center, the full-time remote Patient Access Scheduling & Communications Coordinator will execute scheduling, registration, and communication tasks while serving as a primary contact for patients and care teams.
Key responsibilities
- Manage routine scheduling and registration tasks for outpatient appointments
- Verify patient demographic and insurance information while transcribing clinical messages
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic systems and escalate complex issues as needed
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- A minimum of one year of customer service experience
- Strong data entry skills with proficiency in computer/technical terminology
- Ability to organize and maintain record systems effectively
- Demonstrated comfort with learning new technical applications and systems
