Job Summary

To support the Patient Financial Services team, the full-time Patient Access Insurance Coordinator will verify patient insurance eligibility, resolve billing issues, and maintain detailed documentation while working remotely during standard business hours.

Key responsibilities
  • Performs insurance verification functions and documents actions taken on patient accounts
  • Reviews bill hold worklists to resolve issues and release claims in the billing system
  • Coordinates and prioritizes activities to meet departmental and corporate goals, making recommendations for improvements
Required qualifications
  • 3 years of insurance verification and authorization experience
  • 3 years of medical billing and utilization experience
  • Strong Epic registration and scheduling experience
  • Competency in MS Office
  • High School Diploma / GED
