Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Access Insurance Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete scheduling, pre-registration, financial clearance, authorization, and referral validation processes
  • Verify insurance information and communicate with payors regarding authorization and referral requirements
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with patients, providers, and external agencies
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Degree/GED
  • Three (3) years of experience with insurance verification, authorization, and medical billing
  • Patient Accounting, 3rd Party Payor, and/or Managed Care experience
  • Thorough knowledge of HIPAA regulations
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
