Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Access Insurance Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete scheduling, pre-registration, financial clearance, authorization, and referral validation processes
Verify insurance information and communicate with payors regarding authorization and referral requirements
Maintain excellent working relationships with patients, providers, and external agencies

Required Qualifications:

High School Degree/GED
Three (3) years of experience with insurance verification, authorization, and medical billing
Patient Accounting, 3rd Party Payor, and/or Managed Care experience
Thorough knowledge of HIPAA regulations
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
