Patient Access Intake Specialist

Job Summary

Supporting timely access to infusion services, the remote Patient Access Intake Specialist will coordinate referrals, manage intake documentation, and facilitate communication among various teams while residing in the Mountain or Pacific Time Zones.

Key responsibilities

• Engages with patients, referral sources, and internal teams to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery
• Creates and obtains all required documentation for new referrals
• Secures upfront payment from patients and assists them in finding financial assistance as needed

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two years of related experience
• Previous healthcare, medical billing, or intake experience preferred
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
