Job Summary
Leading a remote team, the full-time Patient Access Manager will oversee patient access operations, ensuring timely and accurate workflows for insurance verification, prior authorization, and scheduling while supporting a patient-centered care experience.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the Patient Access team, ensuring completion of insurance verification, authorization, and onboarding workflows
- Develop and analyze performance reports to implement actionable improvement plans based on data trends
- Serve as an escalation point for complex patient access issues, providing support to team members in resolving high-impact cases
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Over 5 years of experience in patient access or healthcare operations, with more than 3 years in a management role
- Proven success in managing teams in high-volume healthcare call center environments
- Experience with insurance verification, prior authorization, and front-end revenue workflows
- Strong proficiency with EHR/CRM systems and operational metrics analysis
