Job Summary
To support revenue cycle operations, the full-time remote Patient Access Navigator will manage patient scheduling, financial clearance, and demographic information collection while ensuring adherence to quality care standards and departmental metrics.
Key responsibilities
- Collects and verifies patient demographic and financial information to facilitate clinical service procurement
- Schedules, reschedules, and cancels patient appointments while maximizing resource utilization
- Handles inbound and outbound communications regarding registration, appointments, and patient estimates, ensuring high levels of customer service
Required qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience in insurance, managed care, or hospital registration settings preferred
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and revenue cycle processes
- Familiarity with information systems such as Epic and Microsoft Teams
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with frequent changes
