Job Summary
To enhance patient access across various medical disciplines, the full-time Patient Access Navigator II will provide exceptional customer service and technical support in a remote overnight capacity, facilitating patient interactions and assisting with escalations and training.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate patient access to physician and radiology services while delivering high-quality customer service
- Support the Access Center management team with escalations, patient complaints, and onboarding of new hires
- Contribute to the design, development, and evaluation of training programs and quality monitoring across the Patient Access Center
Required qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of experience in a Customer Service, Contact Center, or scheduling environment, preferably in healthcare
- 1-2 years of experience with Acombina and strong technical proficiency in EPIC, Outlook, IDX, Excel, and Word
- Knowledge of central scheduling, medical terminology, insurance verification, and registration is preferred
- Proven ability to handle multiple physician specialties and maintain performance metrics
