Patient Access Navigator

Job Summary

To support revenue cycle operations, the part-time Patient Access Navigator will perform administrative and financial-clearance duties, including collecting patient information, scheduling services, and managing referrals, all while working remotely for 32 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Obtains accurate demographic and financial information from patients and schedules appointments efficiently
• Handles inbound and outbound communications, addressing patient inquiries and ensuring high-quality customer service
• Maintains knowledge of medical terminology and billing processes to assist in pre-registration and authorization tasks

Required qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Experience in insurance, managed care, or hospital registration settings is preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, and ICD-10 codes
• Familiarity with Epic Cadence and other relevant information systems
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with strong organizational skills
