Job Summary
Providing extraordinary customer service, the full-time Patient Access Representative will greet patients, verify demographics, and coordinate appointments in a medical clinic call center environment.
Key responsibilities
- Greet patients and verify their information while managing registration processes
- Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals with the nursing team and providers
- Handle patient financial responsibilities, including collecting payments and assisting with financial assistance
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; post-secondary education is helpful
- One year of work experience, preferably in a medical office setting
- Familiarity with medical terminology is beneficial; customer service experience is essential
- Six months of customer service experience desired
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required for certain locations
