Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Access Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform remote patient registration and manage demographic updates
• Verify insurance and resolve unbilled encounters
• Participate in team huddles to report on process performance outcomes

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of diploma/GED
• 0-2+ years of relevant experience in healthcare
• Knowledge of billing and collections, medical insurance claims procedures, and patient registration
• Familiarity with insurance payer portals is a plus
• Understanding of health insurance plans such as HMO, PPO, and managed care
