Patient Access Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Access Representative who will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient entrance into the facility, including scheduling, registration, benefit verification, and financial clearance
• Ensure accurate patient data is obtained and populated in the patient record
• Mentor fellow Patient Access co-workers and maintain knowledge of insurance carriers and regulatory guidelines

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience with insurance plans and financial clearance processes
• Demonstrated understanding of responsibilities at level 1
• Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform various physical tasks
