Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Access Representative who will advocate for patients and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer inbound calls from new and existing patients and obtain necessary demographic and insurance information
  • Schedule patient appointments and handle referrals while using critical thinking to resolve patient issues
  • Manage multiple systems for documentation and appointment scheduling, including responding to time-sensitive communications
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred
  • Experience with EMR systems, such as NextGen, is preferred
  • Knowledge of patient appointment scheduling is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to maintain a professional and empathetic tone during high call volumes
