Patient Access Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Access Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial contact for patients, providing assistance in-person and via telephone
• Complete financial clearance activities prior to patient arrival to enhance the patient experience
• Handle appointment scheduling, referral completion, authorization for visits, pre-registration, and registration

• Minimum education requirement: None
• Preferred education: Completion of a vocational technical program related to healthcare or medical terminology
• Minimum experience: Proficiency in using a computer and telephone
• Preferred experience: Knowledge of medical insurance and one year of experience in a healthcare facility
• Licenses or certifications: None required
