Patient Access Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Access Pre-Service Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-register patients for outpatient procedures and verify insurance information
• Communicate and educate patients on their insurance benefits and financial responsibilities
• Meet monthly collection targets and develop payment plans for patients as needed

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required
• 1-2 years of customer service and/or financial-related work experience
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Clear understanding of financial counseling's impact on Revenue Cycle operations
• Ability to use PC-based office productivity tools effectively
