Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Access Representative to provide exceptional customer service to patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients, verify demographics, and manage registration processes
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, referrals, and interpreter services
- Perform additional office duties including chart preparation and patient financial assistance
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; post-secondary education is helpful
- One year of work experience, preferably in a medical office setting
- Medical terminology knowledge is helpful; customer service experience is essential
- Six months of customer service experience desired
- May require BLS certification for certain locations and/or settings
