Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Access Representative.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients, verify demographics, and manage registration processes
- Coordinate and schedule appointments, referrals, and interpreter services
- Perform additional duties including chart preparation, patient financial assistance, and managing office tasks
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; post-secondary education is helpful
- One year of work experience, preferably in a medical office setting
- Medical terminology knowledge is beneficial; customer service experience is essential
- Six months of customer service experience desired
- May require BLS certification for certain locations and/or settings
