Patient Access Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Part Time Patient Access & Care Team Representative (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Assist inbound callers and make outbound calls as necessary, linking patient experiences with established protocols
• Schedule patient appointments, verify insurance information, and manage cancellations and reschedules
• Provide referrals to physicians and identify emergent calls for appropriate escalation

Required Qualifications

• High School Graduate
• Experience in healthcare preferred
• Experience in a call center or customer service-related area preferred
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology is helpful
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle various customer needs
