Patient Access Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Access Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient entrance into the facility through scheduling, registration, benefit verification, and financial clearance
• Ensure accurate patient data is obtained and populated into the patient record
• Maintain knowledge of insurance carriers, Medicare guidelines, and accreditation standards

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 1-3 years of clerical and customer service experience preferred
• High school diploma required; some college education is helpful
• Experience with medical terminology and insurance plans preferred
• Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines with high accuracy
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and perform various physical tasks regularly
