Patient Access Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Access Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient entrance into facilities, including scheduling, registration, and financial clearance
• Ensure accurate patient data is obtained and populated into records
• Maintain knowledge of insurance carriers, Medicare guidelines, and accreditation agencies

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 1-3 years of clerical and customer service experience preferred
• High School diploma required; some college preferred
• Experience with medical terminology and insurance plans preferred
• Ability to use various computer systems and 10-key calculator
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring prolonged standing and walking
