Job Summary

Patient Access Representative is a full-time position that serves as the first point of contact for patients, facilitating scheduling, registration, benefit verification, and financial clearance while ensuring accurate patient data entry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate patient scheduling, registration, and financial clearance processes
  • Verify patient benefits and obtain necessary pre-certifications
  • Ensure accurate patient data is recorded in the patient record system
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • High School diploma required; some college preferred
  • 1-3 years of clerical and customer service experience preferred
  • Experience with medical terminology and insurance plans preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance carriers and Medicare guidelines
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as required
