Job Summary

Patient Access Representative, a full-time position responsible for facilitating patient entrance into healthcare facilities through scheduling, registration, benefit verification, and financial clearance while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate scheduling, registration, and benefit verification for patients
• Ensure accurate patient data is obtained and maintained in the patient record
• Provide financial clearance and pre-visit collection as needed

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma required; some college preferred
• 1-3 years of clerical and customer service experience preferred
• Experience with medical terminology and insurance plans preferred
• Knowledge of insurance carriers and Medicare guidelines
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and prolonged standing
