Patient Access Representative

Job Summary

Patient Access Representative is a full-time position responsible for facilitating patient entrance into facilities, including scheduling, registration, benefit verification, and financial clearance, while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient scheduling, registration, and financial clearance processes
• Ensure accurate patient data is obtained and populated into records
• Maintain knowledge of insurance carriers and relevant guidelines

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma required; some college preferred
• 1-3 years of clerical and customer service experience preferred
• Experience with medical terminology and insurance plans preferred
• Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform various physical tasks
