Job Summary

To support multiple locations, the full-time Patient Access Representative, Float will manage patient registration and scheduling duties, greet patients, verify demographics, and assist with financial arrangements while working remotely.

Key responsibilities
  • Perform patient registration and scheduling by greeting patients, verifying demographics, and managing related paperwork
  • Coordinate appointments, referrals, and pre-authorizations while collaborating with nursing teams and providers
  • Mentor new Patient Access Representatives and assist with resolving registration-related issues and maintaining databases
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; post-secondary education is helpful
  • One year of work experience, preferably in a medical office setting
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is beneficial; customer service experience is essential
  • Six months of customer service experience desired
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required for certain locations
