Job Summary

Managing the scheduling of patient appointments, the full-time Patient Access Representative will ensure efficient use of clinical resources while providing empathetic guidance to patients regarding their pre-service requirements in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage scheduling of patient appointments to maximize efficiency of clinical resources and patient time
  • Accurately capture demographic and insurance information for seamless checkout and billing
  • Resolve scheduling hurdles and support the insurance authorization process to facilitate timely patient care
Required qualifications
  • High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience
  • Healthcare experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience scheduling patient appointments via phone and chat correspondence
  • Ability to navigate multiple systems in a remote environment
  • Experience with Athena, Epic, Dash, Genesys, or Salesforce is a plus
