Job Summary
To support a growing healthcare team, the full-time Patient Access Representative will manage patient registration and scheduling duties remotely, ensuring accurate demographic verification, appointment coordination, and financial responsibility while providing excellent customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Greet patients, verify demographics, and manage registration and scheduling processes
- Collect payments, assist with financial arrangements, and address registration-related issues
- Coordinate appointments, referrals, and interpreter services while collaborating with healthcare providers
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; post-secondary education is a plus
- One year of work experience in a medical office setting is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology is helpful
- Six months of customer service experience is desired
- BLS certification may be required for certain locations or settings
