Job Summary

Representing the highest standards of customer service, the full-time Patient Access Representative will facilitate patient scheduling, registration, benefit verification, and financial clearance in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage patient scheduling and registration processes to ensure a smooth entrance into the facility
  • Verify insurance benefits and perform pre-certification and financial clearance tasks
  • Maintain accurate patient data and knowledge of insurance carriers and Medicare guidelines
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma required; some college preferred
  • 1-3 years of clerical and customer service experience preferred
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance plans preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to use various computer systems and a 10-key calculator
